Our starting point is the landowner or farmer. We help our clients to find a sustainable future for their businesses. Where there are opportunities to create new income streams for third party investment, we will carefully review all the implications for the business: from practical matters such as land tenure arrangements and taxation, to areas such as reputational risk and management control. 

We will only look to enter into arrangements which meet the client’s criteria after detailed review with their advisory team. We are interested in long term sustainability, not jumping on a bandwagon.

Unlike some of our competitors, we are focussed exclusively on natural capital. This includes engaging with emerging policy; monitoring technical developments in areas such as remote sensing; and developing the necessary structures and contracts to enable private investment.

We have extensive contacts in this sector - not only in the landowning community, but also among experts in carbon science, rural policy and legal and taxation professionals. We collaborate with these and other specialist consultants to put together the right team to meet our clients’ needs. 

As an independent consultancy, we work alongside established advisers to offer specialist advice as required, whether for a one-off project or a longer-term partnership.
